EDIT: Redistribute it but please give a bit of credit...although, it isn't required.
Get The Gimp! It's a free program! Even though the interface may be confusing for you, stick with it. I'm telling you, I just got Adobe CS3 Extended recently and even I have chosen to keep my wonderful Gimp! Give it a try! I found this wonderful resource by ~o0Katriana0o. She took the Copic palette and converted it to Adobe Photoshop palettes files to simulate Copic Markers since 1) Copic Markers are so expensive and 2) wait, will someone give me a two??? Oh yeah, what ~o0Katriana0o said about emulating markers digitally... Hold on, what about them people (like myself) who can't afford neither Photoshop NOR Copic Markers.... Hence, I took them from the color chart and convert them to The Gimp palette files considering The Gimp can't read EVERYTHING from photoshop. Mine are a bit different...the name comes first and then it's unique color code. ~o0Katriana0o did the opposite in this case...but I hope whatever you use, you will get used to the naming. Also I didn't make a file in which all the colors are in one palette but if I get requests, I will sure do it. Maybe it's a good idea to have the opacity set at 50%...maybe 75%...just try them out and see how it works out for you guys... same with ~o0Katriana0o's version. Remember, this is straight from the color chart...a.k.a. it may be different when actually using them... And please, just link back here. It took a lot of time to make these for The Gimp and perhaps equal if not more work for ~o0Katriana0o to do the photoshop version. Please download them to: C:\Documents and Settings\{YourUsername}\.gimp-2.4\palettes OR C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\palettes And here is the Adobe Photoshop Version by ~o0Katriana0o. The thing is I am heading to the graphic design industry and I will be needing it definitely (and I want to be serious about it). And besides, The Gimp is free and legal and does plenty to appease me for now...and when I buy Photoshop, I will actually buy a suite so multiple programs for me...
(And seriously, I am actually waiting for a CS4...)
You should try The Gimp...it is actually fun with it too...

Honestly, I'm not paying a shitload of money for a mediocre photo-editing program.
Copic markers are worth the money; PS is not.

Besides, I still don't have much control with markers so I'm screwed. It's like me and watercolors...
As for PS, well, Apple is good for hardware where Microsoft is good for software...it's an unwritten rule... But still, as a college student, the price for PS can be cheaper on eFollett.com so it is not so steep...although, I am a big supporter of the The Gimp cause it is free... Adobe Photoshop no matter how you put it is made really for serious businesses I think...not really for the home...
And as features goes, PS is still at it's best...I don't think there is a program that has an equal amount and variety of features it has...
Also another thing...it is also perhaps I am also interested in more digital than traditional mediums right now...

I do love my copics, but it would be nice to try out a digital version of them
If there is an problem or a wrong color...tell me!
