Okay...I'm getting slightly pissed off of many people's comments on Manga Bullet and their rantings on how bad dA is.
Yes, dA has problems but they try to fix it. I kinda like Manga Bullet that is nice and quiet because there is no pageviews, (I like the pageviews here to throw a little confetti once in a while but some people think it is the only thing on dA.) no popular list (which, yes, can cause personal competition too), and no journals that is topping the dA Today page with lulz and 'I'm leaving' pages but still.
If you had a bad running with the dA admin, don't assume that all of the dA Admin are awful. I used to think that the Admin was generally the police but I got familiar with some of them and they are very nice people.
As for the recent change in dA's message center, even though it is similar to Manga Bullet's, I dunno, like many people, if they did or not...but it is not like dA now looks like Manga Bullet...it is not a complete copy...
But my basic point is that I would like Manga Bullet as a completely different site than dA and by doing it is hopefully to stop comparing the two...and even if the message center was influenced by Manga Bullet...that means dA acknowledge Manga Bullet...and there are other sites after all, it is not like Manga Bullet is the only one besides dA...after all, I think there was another site that dA was based on if I'm not mistaken.

Personally, I doubt that DeviantArt's new message center was at all influenced by MangaBullet's. It's a convenient layout, and we should all know as artists that similarities come in abundance regardless of whether or not we intended there to be. And personally, I don't feel that what similarities there are are that strong. </3
As people, as human beings, we're taught to look at what's the same instead of what's different. Why? So we can relate to each other. So we can open up to one another and learn to accept each other's differences. But as things that are definitively the same? It's time to look at the differences again.
...Ahaha. ._. Sorry.

I think we relate everything that we see to something that is familiar to us. The key is to determine when we see simple similarities, when we see things that may not really be as similar as they first appear, and when we really do see a copy.
I was just worried I was beginning to sound like I was ranting at you instead of with you.
New and significant changes may prompt more rants in the future, but the rants will decrease as the community grows. There are more important things to dwell on in this life than the things that we don't like. And I believe the majority of us understand that.

While everyone is equal, no one is the same. It's when pageviews get unmerited emphasis that problems start. Otherwise, they're just a number. Just a statistic. *shrug* owo~
