We have already 11 entries already and I'm looking for at least 4 more!


What Do You Have To Do:

Okay. This will be both weapons and magical items contest where you can either draw, describe, or a bit of both...or whatever comes to your mind as long as you really show it to me in anyway possible. Hell, even do a collage or make it out of food why dontcha! Also please describe to me what function it does. It is not required, more so to the elegance category, but it's truly helpful. Also when you submit, you don't have to enter to one of the particular categories. All of them will be considered for all categories BUT not one weapon should win multiple categories.


Rules:

1) All forms accepted. Make it out of toothpaste even. I don't bother. However, as long as I can see all the details or you describe all the details, go insane. If people started to pumpkin carve their weapons in the middle of January, I may create another category for this.
2) Please put some work into this. Don't double dip entries. You can take an old deviation but you gotta put some proof that you worked a bit on it. Maybe improved it!
3) No limit in submitting entries but there will be no person winning multiple categories.
4) I will just collect them. All have a chance to win any of the categories. Judging will proceed as the same.

Things To Consider:

- Name/Nickname...?
- Appearance...?
- Ability...?
- How to use it?/Requirements to use it?
- Weaknesses?


This is not required but please not too much of god-like weapons unless it's in intended to be the WTH Category or your god OC is wielding it and it is unusually in human hands. I'd like to see at least a bit of weakness to it to make it more believable. However, I'm pulling this request out because I just don't want something like, "HAR HAR! MY WEAPON CAN NEVER BE DESTROYED..." type of thing but pretty much I should be accepting to even god-like weapons too.


Due Date: None Yet. It will be 3 months after the date of the 15th contest entry.


Prizes: Right now they are all features but I'm considering of adding some prizes but expect either drawing or writing prizes. Adding to the prizes are welcome!

- The Ultimate Brutal Weapon/Item - This is the weapon that will not just join the family of guns, maces, scythes...in its own light it will be the best of the best. Convince me this is the top of the top that not even the weapons today will compare. Its brutal function is its main consideration. SUB CATEGORIES NOW so a weapon without magical properties isn't overshadowed by one that has.

- The Ultimate Elegant Weapon/Item - This is the most gorgeous weapon...it could second as an accessory that could match a certain piece of jewelry or be worn as one. (Two of my OCs have swords that will form as a sort of pendant when not in use.) Its gorgeous appearance is its main consideration.

- The Ultimate Creative Weapon/Item - Go crazy on what the item does and how does it look like. Does it do something no one has ever thought of before? Is the weapon concealed as something else? Be creative with this. Technically, be yourself. Its uniqueness is its main consideration.

- The Ultimate 'What The Hell?' Weapon/Item - Tickle my funny bone with this one. This is like the Creative Weapon but it is so out of this world or so hilarious that if a living model was ever created, (if it was even possible that is) the creator must have been on something when he did it. Also all rules to life goes down the drain in this category. Its funny bone is its main consideration.

- The Ultimate People's Choice Weapon/Items - All of the other categories will be judged by me - no ifs, ands, or buts. All are final. However, this is gonna be the category where you vote. If you don't see a entry in this category by voting time, that mean the entry won a different category.

Judging - I WILL JUDGE THIS CONTEST ALONE...I'll let you know if this changes but there is no plans whatsoever to change this. The People's Choice is where we vote on a swimming competition style using polls...if I have a sub by that time. If not, I'll do this by journal.
